Hi there everybody and, welcome back to another amazing entry from your host Zachery Ramos. Today I will be sharing with you all an outstanding animal rescue facility that is located in Zimbabwe. Its called Rehabilitating Life and, it is a beautiful place to work at along side many terrific staff who all share a same strong bond in caring for numerous animals on the property. Hope you all enjoy the piece and, afterwords hope you to will want to join us in saving these animals.
Currently working with an organization from Zimbabwe to help raise funding for their animal rehabilitation center for wildlife affected or hurt by poachers. Currently I am reaching out to numerous wildlife activist groups to find support in America, Canada and, Mexico so that I may raise money faster by expanding my search. I have at the moment raised over $9436 in the past three months to assist them with upgrading their current facility. The money raised also goes towards medical supplies for the Elephants and, Black Rhino’s whose tusk have been sawed off of them to be sold in black market ivory deals.

Rehabilitating Life has taken in and, cared for over 400 hundred Elephants and Rhinos since its beginning in 2007 when there first rescue was a baby elephant was found bleeding from the stomach next to its mother whose mouth was covered in blood. Ever since then they've been working hard to save and rescue as many as they possibly can.
This is a unique opportunity to get a behind the scenes look at life on a 10,000 acre privately owned game reserve, experiencing all its challenges and joys, and live amongst African animals in the heart of the Zimbabwe bush. They have four of Africa’s Big 5 game - lions, elephants, rhinos and buffalos and a huge range of plains game including sable, kudu, waterbuck, wildebeest, crocodile, hippo, giraffes and zebra. With 150 species of bird plus numerous snakes and lizards, R.L. is truly an animal-lover's paradise.

Rehabilitating Life offers so many possibilities and, areas to assist in as long as you have the energy to keep up because there is never a dull moment with their staff. On call 24/7, working late hours whenever an emergency call is made and, on their breaks they are still out enjoying life with the animals washing them or eating alongside them. The volunteer program at R.L. has been a favorite experience out of the 35+ countries that people have traveled. Better than any safari. Every morning walk, you will usually be accompanied by either African elephants or Black rhinos. Get to feed them, pet them, care for them, and bathe the elephants in the lake. The volunteer house is way beyond expectations and is located right on the lake with beautiful views, good food, and an accommodating staff. At night you can hear Mumbo the lion roar.

With the extinction phenomenon quickening with an exceptional pace, the rehabilitation efforts would have to be doubled.
